Welcome to Crewe RA
Crewe Referees' Society is a local branch of the Referees' Association. The Referees' Association had an increasingly important role to play. Howard Webb MBE has regularly and fevently supported the RA and emphasised the crucial role the RA played in him achieve the pinnacles of refereeing in 2010 - the Champions' League and World Cup finals. England's top officials' regularly pay tribute to the RA's contribution to their success and well-being, and they demonstrate their views by the support they give to RA events at all levels from local Association meetings through to the RA Conference.
The greatest impact for many members if having other around them; being a part of a referee community in the local area. Networking with friends and colleagues at our monthly open meetings prrovides a safe space to share experiences, learn from one another's match events, and helps in keeping your refereeing experience as enjoyable as possible.

Throughout my career The Referees' Association has been a constant source of advice, guidance and support. Membership of the RA has been an essential part of my development and I struggle to see how any aspiring referee can achieve their goals without the support offered by The RA.
Being a member has so many different benefits; the oppurtunity to attend meetings with colleagues and learn from their experiences, a sounding board to ask questions of more experienced referees, the training sessions and guest speakers at branch meetings, not to mention the protection and leagal assistance of the RA should it ever be needed.
